The Astros beat the Rangers 7-1 (in a 150 words or less)

Dallas Keuchel outdueled Yu Darvish and the Astros picked up the 7-1 win over the Rangers Friday night.

What exactly is rocking chair pitching? It’s whatever Keuchel was doing to the Rangers. Over six innings he wouldn’t allow a run, the lefty limited the Rangers to just three hits and two walks while striking out seven.

He’d only go six innings, throwing a total of 89 pitches but it felt like Keuchel could have pitched forever and they’d never figure him out.

The Rangers wouldn’t get their first hit off the lefty until the third inning, with two outs Josh Reddick was tracking down a fly ball but misplayed it slightly and the almost certain no-hitter that he was on track for throw was over.

In the fifth inning, the Astros cracked Darvish and Carlos Correa launched a three-run homer to put them ahead.
