Springer again came through in the fourth inning when he blasted a two-run home to give them a 4-1 lead.
The offense tacked on two more insurance runs in the sixth inning. With two outs and the bases loaded, Springer would single, driving in two.
Manager A.J. Hinch would turn it over to Will Harris to try and get out of the inning unscathed and he’d get a double play ball out of the gate, but no one covered first base, a scored and the game was tied.
Both George Springer and Yulieski Gurriel hit solo home runs. Overall all the Astros had 11 hits Tuesday, including five guys getting two hits, but they just weren’t able to string many together.
