The Rockets for three-quarters hung in with the Spurs and despite James Harden having an off night with only 13 points, the game was 88-83.
James Harden got the Rockets off to a fast start scoring 11 points and he was responsible for another 13 points off of assists, helping the team run out to a 34-23 lead in the first quarter.
Beverley will have many jobs against the Spurs and will be a key reason if the team will advance or not.
Back in 2005, this same scenario happened for the Rockets when they took on the Mavericks. Jeff Van Gundy blasted officials for their treatment of Yao Ming and while he was fined 100,000 dollars, the Mavericks would end up losing in the next round, coincidently to Mike D’Antoni.
